What’s better than music and beer at one of this summer’s hottest music festivals? And Kona Big Wave want’s in on that action.

Here’s the deal…

Founded in 1994 on the Big Island of Hawaii, Kona Big Wave, which is now made by Anheuser-Busch, has partnered with Spotify the steaming service that has pretty much revolutionized music listening to host its first Soundwave Sessions, intimate events that brings fans closer to their favorite artists, and onsite activations at the biggest music festivals during the season

On March 15, Kona Big Wave & Spotify’s in-house music consultancy for brands, Spotify AUX, kicked off the festival series in NYC with an intimate session by indie folk artist DOPE LEMON, followed by a DJ set from Jungle in an intimate evening of Indi-music, artisan food and, of course, Kona Big Wave beer.

“Kona Big Wave aims to bring people together over moments of shared connection, and music is one of the most powerful ways to inspire that connection,” said Meredith Ruskin, VP of Marketing for Kona Big Wave….

“By partnering with Spotify, one of the largest global music platforms and creating Soundwave Sessions, we hope to bring new fans into the Kona family and foster the aloha spirit at some of the biggest music moments of the summer.”

Soundwave Sessions will culminate at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois with another exclusive music session brought to fans by Kona and Spotify ahead of the festival weekend.

Kona Big Wave has plans to make a splash at the biggest music festivals of the summer including The Governors Ball (June 6-8 /NYC), Lollapalooza (June 31- Aug 3, Chicago)  Ohana Festival (Sept 26-28, Dana Point, CA) and Ocean’s Calling (Sept 26-28, Ocean City,. MD) Each immersion will bring one-of-a-kind experiences that foster shared connection over music and embrace the aloha lifestyle that Kona Big Wave is all about.
