This weekend’s collection of new beer offerings are looking to spring…And 2019 is already shaping up to be a great year for beer.
A Light In The Darkness (Minneapolis, MN) – Indeed Brewing has announced a new addition to its year-round portfolio that’s a low-octane take on one of its most popular beers. Inspired by its older sibling, Mexican Honey Imperial Lager, Indeed Mexican Honey Light is a 5.2% ABV lager that’s brewed with imported Mexican orange blossom honey to keep things bright and interesting.
A “Root For The Home Team” Beer (Cape May, NJ) – Cape May Brewing sees beer as the “Great Unifier” and in keeping with that brewed a beer that according to the brewery “would make everyone’s taste buds happy.” Brewed for the masses yet in no way generic, Cape May Lager is a 4.8% ABV Pale Lager that’s available now 12-ounce cans as well as on draft.
Smokin’ (Newport, OR) – Last September, Rogue Ales dominated of the smoked beer category at The Great American Beer Festival with an award-winning beer that’s now available in 22oz bottles. Rogue’s riff on a classic German Märzen tradition, St. Chuck’s Smoke is a 5.3% ABV Rauchbier with rich notes of smoke and caramel and a lingering finish.

It’s High Time They Did This (Dallas, TX) – Lakewood Brewing is introducing an extremely limited, small batch series of beers guaranteed to keep things interesting. Lakewood Earthly Highs, is the first in the series a tart and hazy India Pale Ale that’s right on time.
