Stone Brewing has joined forces with MOVA Brewing in Ukraine to generate funds for those affected by the war. We’ve that, Ron DeSantis on loving Guinness Stout and more.

Stone and Ukraine’s MOVA Brewing Stand in Solidarity

Stone Brewing is collaborating with MOVA Brewing in Dnipro, Ukraine with a new IPA to generate funds for those affected by the war.

In a statement of solidarity, and in support of Stone’s distribution partners in Kiev, proceeds of the beer will support those affected by the war on Ukraine. The collaboration brew will be available on draft at Stone Brewing locations in the US and at locations throughout the world.

When the war on Ukraine broke out in 2022, Stone Brewing’s International Sales Team rallied their personal and professional networks to help Ukrainian refugees. They delivered food and critical supplies to the Ukrainian border and found homes for refugees, who they had bussed back to Berlin with them.

Amazingly the MOVA Brewery has been spared destruction and its team has partnered with Stone brewing to craft MOVA / Stone Side By Side IPA, a 6% ABV India Pale that will soon be available on draft at Stone Brewing locations in the United States and at locations throughout the world.

, Beer News: DeSantis Drinks Guinness Not Bud Light / More Ukraine War Beer

Governor Ron DeSantis, a Guinness man

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is expected to become a presidential candidate this year, has revealed he doesn’t like the taste of Bud Light and prefers Guinness  reports the Daily Mail although he does back the light beer’s boycott brought on by the Bud Light Trans Activist controversy.

Speaking on The Benny Show, DeSantis said: “You know, my wife and I we actually like the stout, Guinness. Years ago we went to Dublin, we went to some other places, and we’ve always been a fan ever since.’

Referencing the Bud Light backlash generated by its partnership with Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender influencer whose image was put on a Bud Light beer, DeSantis expressed his support…

‘Why would you want to drink Bud Light? I mean, honestly that’s like them rubbing our faces in it and it’s like these companies that do this, if they never have any response, they’re just going to keep doing it.”
