La-La Landed (Los Angeles, CA) – Having recently extended its presence into Portland, Oregon’s impressive craft brewing scene, San Diego’s Modern Times Beer opened its newest hub in downtown LA on Monday.

Located in Downtown LA’s increasingly trendy South Park neighborhood, Modern Times’ new satellite brewpub, The Dankness Dojo is reportedly “offering more than two dozen taps to go along with a full kitchen and cafe up front.”

Modern Times’ Dankness Dojo is the latest addition to LA’s burgeoning beer scene. And the South Park neighborhood in Downtown LA has fast become a craft beer mecca, thanks to players like Mega Bodega and the popular Mikkeller bar just around the corner.

One involving their tasting room and the other, a significant addition to their sales team.

The Crux Fermentation Project tasting room will be getting a major upgrade this spring that will more than double their indoor seating and quadruple their  bathroom capacity among other things.

Crux’s Sales Team is getting a big-time management upgrade as well in 2018, with the addition of Mike Foy who comes to the project from Deschutes to helm the newly created GM of Sales position.

What We’ve Been Drinking Lately (Portland, OR) – With the East Coast now enjoyingbeer, Beer Buzz – Modern Times New LA Brewery, Crux Fermentation Project And More! unseasonably warm temperatures, we tapped an island fav from Kona Brewing last night. Brewed with passionfruit, orange and guava flavors Kona Hanalei Island IPA is a 4.5% India Pale Ale that pairs so much better when things warm up.
