February is just flying by and American craft brewers are addressing things with exciting new beers you’re gonna want to have around.
Get Iced (Munster, IN) – Three Floyds Brewing has just released a bolder spin on their award-winning Zombie Dust, which has been making waves in the craft beer biz since its release in 2010. Crafted with an unholy amount of Citra hops, Three Floyds Zombie Ice is an 8.5% ABV Double Pale Ale with a collaborative label artwork designed by Three Floyds’ founder Nick Floyd, writer Brian Azzarello, and artist Simon Bisley.
“The beer is exactly what you’d think,” says Brewmaster Chris Boggess. “A bigger, punchier version of itself. Compared to Zombie Dust, the aroma has strong notes of orange marmalade and tropical citrus. The bitterness is firm, but it’s still very drinkable.”
99 And Fine (Chippewa Falls, WI) – Leinenkugel’s has a new season that delivers layers of flavors and only 99 calories. Crafted with real lemon juice and locally sourced honey is a 4% ABV American Lager with a refreshingly light and sweet finish.
A Dry High (Denver, C)) – Non-Alcoholic beers have come a long way’s since your uncle used to order an O’Doul’s. And now there’s a non-alcoholic brewer that was awarded the Gold Medal for the Non-Alcoholic Beer category at the 2022 World Beer Cup Awards for its lager. But Gruvi makes all kinds of uber-convincing non-alcoholic brews including this new Discovery Series release which is one of our favorite beer styles.
Brimming with bright lemon peel, cardamom, and coriander nots, Gruvi Weekday Wit is the brewery’s buzz-free take on the Belgian-style Wheat Beer with a creamy, full-bodied mouthfeel.
