Limited editions and special seasonal releases dominate our latest collection of new beers for 2018…And we’ve five exciting craft beer directions that you might want to chase down as we look to summer.

CBC Ready, Set, Go! (Nashville, TN) – If you’ve been reading us this week, you know that the industry’s most important gathering the 2018 Craft Brewers Conference is going on all week in Nashville. And as part of the ongoing celebrations Tennessee Brew Works, Maryland’s Guinness Open Gate Brewery & Barrel House, and George A. Dickel & Co. have collaborated to create a beer that celebrates the Scots-Irish heritage of Tennessee. Sinsear, (Gaelic for ‘roots’) is an 8.5% ABV Imperial Irish Red Ale that was infused with lemon zest and ginger and aged for five months in George Dickel Superior Number 12 Whisky barrels.

At Wits End (Denver, CO) – Brewing from a hidden base with Strange Craft Beer Company, Wit’s End has crafted its fourth annual beer in support of Star Wars Day (May 4^th). A classic spring style Wit’s End Mai The Fourth (excuse the puns) is a 7% ABV Maibock Lager that was fermented with Bavarian lager yeast to produce clean, malty flavors with a touch of fruity grape notes.

The Devil’s In The Details (San Carlos, CA) – This week Devil’s Canyon Brewing will be releasing the latest from its seasonal Kaleidoscope Series. A nod to California’s Central Valley orchards. Devil’s Canyon Kaleidoscope Hefeweizen is a 5% ABV Bavarian-style Hefeweizen brewed with fresh oranges from the Golden State.

Get Ready To Jump (Kailua-Kona, HI) –  Kona Brewing just announced the latest addition to its Aloha Series…a bold, juicy beer that highlights the adventurous spirit of the Hawaiian Islands. Drawing inspiration from the golden cliffs of Lanai, where for years adventurous Hawaiians have launched off a 70-foot bluff into Kaunolu Cove, Kona Gold Cliff IPA is a 7.2% ABV India Pale Ale that pairs caramel & acidulated malts with Mosaic, Chinook, Topaz, and Citra aromatics for a cool island rush.

Spirited (Denver, CO) – Great Divide Brewing has announced new Wood Werks Series release that was masterfully conceived and blended. Aged to perfection for more than 12 months in red wine, whiskey and bourbon barrels, Great Divide Wood Werks No.2 is a 9.5% ABV Flemish-style Sour Brown Ale that was crafted with strawberries
