February is ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with exciting new beers you’re gonna want to have around.
Hot Stuff (Juneau, AK) – Alaskan Brewing is heating things up with the return of an award winner from its always interesting Pilot Series. Brewed with fresh Jalapeños, hand selected by brewers and a smart blend of Centennial, Sterling, Magnum, and Apollo hops offset by Munich and Crystal malts, Alaskan Jalapeño IPA is an 8.5% ABV India Pale Ale with a balanced spice heat, citrus and pine notes and a warming finish.
Despite its name, this IPA isn’t overly spicy or hot. The choice hop blend and malt bill are engineered to highlight the best aspects of the jalapeño flavor without allowing the pepper to overpower, resulting in a beer with the freshness of a vegetable garden and a deliciously smooth balance.
All Hail The Hazy (Chico, CA) – Sierra Nevada Brewing is kicking off 2023 an all-new limited-edition Hazy Series, which was designed to introduce a range of unique and fresh Hazy options for beer fans to explore throughout the year. The very first iteration in this promising series is Sierra Nevada Juicy Little Thing is a 6.5% ABV juice-bomb. Crafted using a specialized yeast strain and Sterling, Citra, El Dorado, and Mosaic hops, this new limited release sports bright stone fruit, apricot, tropical fruit, and citrus notes that linger.
New In The N/A Corner (Seattle, WA) – Non-Alcoholic beers have come a long way since your Uncle Ed was forced to order an O’Doul’s. And now Fremont, a leading Seattle brewer has entered the game. Brewed with the finest barley and hops, and the same passion and attention to detail that can be found in all their beers, Fremont Non-Alcoholic IPA is a buzz-free India Pale Ale that’s both convincing and delicious.
