2023 is ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with exciting new beers you’re gonna want to have around.

Ponchos And Pints (Milton DE) – Coastal weather can get unpredictable in the mid-Atlantic around this time of year with winds and rain that can intimidate the most weathered locals. And Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is celebrating this sometimes volatile season with a stormy new release.

Brewed with grapefruit juice, blue agave nectar, lime peels and a touch of sea salt, Dogfish Head Citrus Squall is an 8% ABV Imperial Golden Ale with powerful gusts of citrusy hop and grapefruit aromas and a downpour of  bright and tart grapefruit flavor that will eventually give way to a nectar sweetness. Asked for comment, Dogfish Head Founder & Brewer, Sam Calagione added “When it Rains, We Pour!”

Jurassic Juice (Atlanta, GA) – Monday Night Brewing is celebrating its past and future with something that we can’t wait to encounter. Straight from the Jurassic Jungle of Juice Monday Night Juice Raptor is a lush and tropical Hazy IPA with layers of ripe pineapple, grapefruit, mango, and orange notes that dangerously collide. Perhaps Juice Raptor’s greatest trick is that it’s deceptively smooth. You’ll be tempted to crush it—but at 6.9% ABV, it may end up crushing you.

Seasonal Brewing (Portland, OR) – Ecliptic Brewing recently released the brewery’s first Seasonal Series beer of the new year and it’s definitely worth your time. Brewed with Cashmere and Citra hops as well a real grapefruit, Ecliptic Parsec Grapefruit is a 6.5% ABV India Pale Ale with big stone fruit and citrus notes.
