With fall just around the corner, things get even more seasonal in our latest collection of new offerings…And we’ve five intriguing craft beer directions that you might want to chase down as we say goodbye to summer.

Things Get Wild At Dogfish Head (Milton, DE) – Dogfish Head Brewing  has launched a new sour and wild ale program, the cleverly named Wooden…It Be Nice! First in the series and debuting at the Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen on September 9th will be KnottyBits, an 8.2% ABV Wild Ale that was wood-aged for a year with Brettanomyces and then racked onto several hundred pounds of sweet and sour cherries and locally sourced rhubarb from Fifer Orchards at a rate of more than 2 lbs. of fresh fruit per gallon!

Spoetzl Collaborates (Shiner, TX) – Texas’ iconic Spoetzl Brewery has harnessed another legend, Balcones Distilling, for a collaborative special release. Coppery-hued with big notes of caramel and oak, Spoetzl Märzen is an 11% ABV whiskey barrel-aged Imperial Lager that’s a true labor of love for both companies.

Keeping it Tropical (Asheville, NC) – Hi-Wire Brewing has an inaugural release to its new series of rotating IPAs. First out of the gate is Hi-Wire Hop Circus Tropical White IPA, a 6% ABV White IPA that’s brewed with mango and pineapple fruit to keep things island-ready.

Gay Distillery in Barbados, the oldest rum producer in the world, Odell Jolly Russian is a MASSIVE 13% ABV Russian Imperial Stout, with aggressive and interweaving notes of oak, spiced molasses, dried fruit and vanilla.

Barista Meets Brewer Meets Pumpkins (Seattle, WA) – One of the things that Elysian Brewing is best known for is their pumpkin beers and they’ve just returned one of our favorites! Melding two of Seattle’s most beloved brews, (serious coffee and ale), Elysian’s Punkuccino is a 6% ABV Coffee Pumpkin Ale that’s an intriguing alternative for those who aren’t necessarily fans of traditional pumpkin ales.
