May is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the warming weather with an intriguing roster of refreshing beers you’re gonna want to have around.

Lawson’s Little Sip Goes Big (Waitsfield, VT) – Lawson’s Finest Liquids has a tasty year-round that the brewery calls its “little cousin to Sip of Sunshine IPA” that in addition to being available year-round in 12packs of 12oz cans is now being offered in ginormous 19.2 cans. Less aggressive than its 8% Imperial IPA cousin, Lawson’s Little Sip IPA is an approachable and  impressively balanced 6.2% ABV India Pale Ale with pungent grapefruit and pineapple notes, a tropical fruit-forward character, and bright floral aromatics.

“19.2s allow a Little Sip to go a long way,” said Sean Lawson, founding brewer of Lawson’s Finest Liquids. “It’s easy to grab it and go for a hike, or pick up a 12-pack on the way to any gathering with friends. We’re excited to present you with two new, super convenient ways to sip one of your favorite brews this summer.”

Available throughout the Northeast, Lawson’s Finest protects the freshness of its lineup with an admirable commitment to cold. Its entire lineup of delicious craft beers is always Cold Stored. Cold Shipped. Cold Shelved.™ to keep every beer brewery-fresh.

Juice Gate (Nashville, TN) –  TailGate Brewery, an independent craft brewery with eight, and soon to be nine, locations throughout Tennessee, has a new addition to its rotating lineup of IPAs that we can’t wait to get our hands on. The first release to the brewery’s Wizards’ Order IPA Series. TailGate Juice Wizard is a 6% ABV medium-light bodied IPA with a firm bitterness and juicy flavors of citrus, mango and berries tethered to an earthy resin and pine base.

“Our taproom-only IPA series are constantly rotating, and highly sought-after,” said TailGate Brewery sole owner and original founder, Wesley Keegan. “We’re excited to bring that art-forward, flavor-forward ethos out to retail across Tennessee with our new Wizards’ Order IPA Series.”

Southern Hemisphere Punch Meets California Style (Paso Robles, Ca) – Firestone Walker Brewing just debuted the first of three new seasonals scheduled for 2024 and  an early batch of this newbie racked up a prestigious award. A Bronze Medal winner at the 2023 Great American Beer Festival in the International Pale Ale category, Firestone XPA is a 5% ABV “next generation” Extra Pale Ale, brewed with Southern Hemisphere hops and California style.

“XPA is the number one craft beer style in Australia and it’s something we’re excited to champion it here in the U.S.,” said Brewmaster Matt Brynildson. “The appeal of XPAs is obvious–they offer everything you love in a good pale ale at a crushable ABV. We fell in love with the style during our travels to hop farms across Australia and New Zealand and we were inspired to make our own.”
