November is ON with winter to come, and American craft brewers are addressing the changing season with more exciting offerings you’re gonna want to have around.
Get Smoked (Juneau, AK) – With the snow line descending from the mountains and the geese migrating south, Alaskan Brewing is returning one of its most awarded cold-weather beers, a tradition spanning 32 years.
With a robust, dark body and a striking smoky flavor, Alaskan Smoked Porter is a 6.5% ABV Rauchbier that’s crafted using six varieties of smoked malts, two varieties of hops and the pristine water of Juneau, Alaska.
Over the years this classic cold-weather beer would become one of the most decorated brews in the United States winning more medals at the Great American Beer Festival than any single beer in history.

Here’s what’s coming on November 12th…
River North God Complex is a massive 18.7% ABV Quadrupel Ale that has been aging in barrels for over 8 months.
River North Shadowman is a 16.9% ABV Imperial Stout with a toasted, soft nose that gives way to this motor-oil mouthfeel.
River North Father Time is a 15.8% ABV barrel-aged Barleywine. Think molasses, toffee, bread and honey flavors.
River North The Last Guardian is a complex 18.9% ABV Abbey-Style Golden Ale released for the first time ever in a barrel aged version.

Conceived by two professional brewers, Dave Colt and Clay Robinson, Sun King Brewing rolled out their first keg of beer in July of 2009. Over the years, the Indianapolis, Indiana-based brewery has grown to become one of the state’s most award-winning breweries with more than 5,000 different beers under their belts.
