Anheuser-Busch has a long history of stepping up in the face of national disasters. And with much of the West Coast burning, and hurricanes in the Southeast they’ve been busy

In partnership with the American Red Cross, Anheuser-Busch has had a longstanding tradition of providing support for disaster relief efforts. Especially during hurricane season when water supply systems go down and safe, drinking water more essential than ever.

And with 87 wildfires now having burned over 4.7 million acres California, Idaho, Oregon, Montana and Washington, and firefighters stretched to the max these are indeed critical times.

Last month, Anheuser-Busch delivered two truckloads of emergency drinking water to help address the wildfire crisis in the West. As things escalated the brewer delivered an additional 200,000 cans of emergency drinking water to California on September 14.

Anheuser-Busch has committed to donating 1.5 million cans of water to volunteer fire departments in 2020 as they face unprecedented challenges.

The first wave of deliveries totaling more than 1 million cans of water were delivered this summer to 150 fire departments across 38 states to help departments during the demanding wildfire season.

Through their rapid response program, the brewer has also provided an additional 11,000 cans of water to support volunteer fire departments in California and Oregon who are in a declared state of emergency as they battle the ongoing wildfires.

And while the West is going up in flames, residents in the Gulf Coast are sreeling from the impact of Hurricane Laura, which has disrupted water supplies in cities like Lake Charles, Louisiana, where water systems are still down and expected to remain so through October.

, Anheuser-Busch Delivers Aid To US Disasters On Both CoastsFollowing that devastating Category 4 event, Anheuser-Busch delivered five truckloads – more than 250,000 cans – of emergency drinking water to support local communities in Louisiana and Texas… And another hurricane just hit Alabama.

Emergency drinking water provided to relief efforts on both coasts was canned at Anheuser-Busch’s Cartersville, Georgia, brewery. And with the help of its extensive wholesale network the canned water is quickly making it way all over the country, to where it is most needed.

We can get snarky when it comes to big beer companies here at American Craft Beer. So it’s only fair that that we showcase them when their actions deserve praise.

And Anheuser-Busch’s much-needed relief efforts have been outstanding.
