From the nation’s coolest beer festivals, movies and music to cutting edge TV – we’ve got your back big-time.  Plus we’ve a special Presidential beer pick for you too, because we know you’ll be drinking.

London Calling!  (United Kingdom) – American Craft Beer is super excited to be heading to “Six degrees of Beavertown”, a big birthday bash this weekend which promises to be one of the best parties of the year. Beavertown Brewery has teamed up with 6 UK and Irish based breweries to produce 6 special collaborations for their 6^th birthday. With over 34 beers on tap and multiple food trucks we hope it is one of many more birthdays for this amazing London brewery.  Make sure to watch out for ACB coverage of this banger because…things will get wild!

TV Time & Streaming – This being a long President’s Day weekend, we suggest that you consider some presidential viewing and there’s all kinds of directions you can go. There’s presidential romance (The American President, Dave). There’s presidential intrigue (All the President’s Men, Thirteen Days, the Contender, The Post). There is presidential comedy (Dr. Strangelove, Mars Attacks, Wag the Dog). And then there’s our favorite sub-genre, presidential horror (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter).

Zwickelmania 2018 Returns This Weekend (Oregon) – Zwickelmania, Oregon’s annual state-wide celebration that’s been described as a “backstage pass to Oregon’s best breweries” returns to the Pacific Northwest for what has now become two weekends of fun.

Portland Area Breweries will be kicking off the first weekend of Zwickelmania 2018, this Saturday February 17^th from 11am to 4pm. And the rest of the state will be participating in Zwickelmania celebrations the following Saturday, February 24^th. Last year, more than 42,500 people toured some 120 Oregon breweries and now with it taking place over two weekend period, it should be even bigger this year.
