Celebrate the 4^th on the 6^th With Double Nickel Brewing and Friends (Philadelphia, PA) – On Saturday, July 6^th, Philly will be hosting what is being described as a new kind of beer festival. Hosted by Double Nickel Brewing and Hop Culture Studios Fourth & Friends Craft Beer Festival is a showcase 23 of the nation’s best craft brewers in the “City of Brotherly Love.” And it’s called “Friends and Family” for a reason. Instead of distributors or volunteers pouring (which has become far to common) only brewers will be on hand to represent and talk about their products.

4^th of July Streaming – What better time than a long 4^th of July weekend to stream some summertime classics. And while we won’t shy away from recommending patriotic revenge flicks like The Patriot, which stars Mel Gibson as a farmer who wreaks havoc the British army after r his family falls victim to the enemy or Stephen Spielberg’s respectful Lincoln…Independence Day checks all the holiday boxes, plus it’s got aliens.

On The Big Screen – Big summer releases dominate this holiday weekend. But the good news is some of them including Toy 4 and Spider-Man: Far From Home have gotten decent reviews. And don’t overlook John Wick: Chapter 3, the latest in a series of brilliantly choreographed, over-the-top actioners starring Keanu Reeves as the aforementioned hit man seeking revenge for the death of his dog.
