Tasting Notes
Appearance: Deep gold in color with a white head of foam. Aroma: Fragrant of bready pilsner malt and a hint of passion fruit. Taste: Sweet pilsner malt, clean and mild, but with pronounced bitterness. The fruit punch character of the New Zealand and American hops is intense with some herbal sage-like character imparted by the European Saphir hops. Palate: Some lingering biscuit notes from the pilsner malt and huge tropical fruit notes from the hops remain in the finish. The beer is neither dry nor sweet, with a nicely balanced malt profile.
