Pasión Peppermint Porter – Big Bend Brewing (Alpine, TX) – Velvet smooth and dark as a moonlit night, Big Bend’s Valentine seasonal is a southern English Porter with gracious deep chocolate and peppermint tones and a wonderfully warming finish. The label art was features a romantic image from Texas artist Tom Curry.

My Bloody Valentine Ale – AleSmith (San Diego, CA) – Some relationships are innately volatile and all-consuming – and there’s only one beer for that. AleSmith My Bloody Valentine Ale is a 6.66% Red Ale with a rich crimson color that’s sweet (but never too sweet) and just a bit unforgiving.

The Love – Starr Hill Brewing Company (Crozet, VA) – Elegant in its simplicity, this beer says it all. Straightforward and comparatively sessionable, Starr Hill’s The Love is a 5.1% unfiltered Hefeweizen with an appropriately fruity aroma and a Valentine’s Day-like “spicy finish.”
