On the Big Screen – Draft Day keeps the off-season football momentum going when Kevin Costner plays a GM who is forced to make some hard decisions for his team when he is presnted with the number one draft pick. Because you never have enough vampires in your life, you should check out the Palm d’Or Nominee from 2013 Cannes Film Festival, Only Lovers Left Alive where a depressed musician reunites with his lover, though their romance – which has already endured several centuries – is disrupted by the arrival of uncontrollable younger sister….who may or may not be a vampire…

If you checked out our story this week about Bayou Teche Brewing, then you know that crawfish season is in full swing down south. So, if you can get out this weekend and enjoy some hot and spicy boiled seafood, get your hands on their Saison D’Écrevisses (Crawfish Season). It’s a belgian style ale that has been carefully crafted to perfectly compliment a hot tray of boiled crawfish.
