A Sunday Classic This Weekend (Athens GA) – The 20^th annual Classic City Brew Fest will be taking place this Sunday April 12^th at The Graduate Athens Hotel – so get primed for a good time. This afternoon event (a part of Athens Craft Beer Week) will feature an amazing 400 regional and international beers. On The Big Screen – A new Sci-Fi flick is opening this weekend and the advance buzz on this one is huge. A directorial debut from 28 Days Later scribe Alex Garland Ex Machina tells the story of a young programmer who is selected to participate in a breakthrough experiment in artificial intelligence that gets increasingly complicated. Critics who’ve seen this film are describing it as an early contender for one of the best movies of the year – so there’s that.

By the Shores of Gitchee Gumee (Superior, WI) – The 17^th annual Gitchee Gumee Brewfest is returning to the University of Wisconsin – Superior’s Wessman Arena this Saturday, April 11^th and you should go for its name alone. This year’s late-afternoon event will feature more than 100 beers from over 35 0f the region’s most cutting edge brewers so you don’t want to miss it. Binge-Worthy TV Watching – Netflix is dropping a brand new Marvel superhero hero series this weekend and since they’re making all 13 episodes available at once you’ll only have to leave your house if you run out of beer. Daredevil stars Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire) as Matt Murdock, the victim of a childhood accident that blinded him but gave him extrasensory powers.

Beach Music (Fort Lauderdale, FL) – Sun, Sand, Roots, Rock & Country Music all come together in a beautiful setting this weekend, when the Tortuga Music Festival returns to Fort Lauderdale Beach Park for two days (April 11^th-12^th) of music with artists like Kenny Chesney, The Band Perry and Little Big Town.
