Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out For
So many beers- So little time… Barrel-aged exotics define this week’s newbies and we’ve a number new offerings that you’ll want to chase down…Plus we’ve some new releases from Green Flash and Stone that sound serious as well.

Wood Worn (Fort Collins, CO) – New Belgium is returning a Lips of Faith favorite that was created by a buddy of ours, Eric Salazar who runs their wood cellaring program out in Colorado . Eric’s Ale is a 7% blended Fruit Sour that’s been aged with peaches for up to two years in New Belgium’s seasoned oak foeders for a sweet and tart finish.

A Cult Favorite Returns (Escondido, CA) – The 2015 vintage of a popular Stone collaboration has returned – so you’ve been warned. Drew Curtis/Wil Wheaton/Greg Koch Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout is the bastard “love child” Stone’s Greg Koch craft beer lover and star of screens big and small (see Stand by Me, Star Trek: The Next Generation, The Big Bang Theory) Wil Wheaton; and craft beer-loving Fark.com creator Drew Curtis. It’s a massive Barrel-aged Stout (w/ Pecans and Rye) that changes some, every year. This year’s version is massive, a 13% sweet and warming sipper that’s brewed to grow even more interesting as it ages.
