The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – July 31, 2015
Hey the work week is over… And it’s time to start thinking fun. Well good, because we’re all about it and we’ve got all kinds of ideas for you. From the nation’s coolest beer festivals, movies and music to cutting edge TV – we’ve got your back big-time. Plus we’ve a special weekend beer pick for you too, because we know you’ll be drinking!

Drink Sessionably In The Mile High City (Denver, CO) – Sesh Fest is a celebration of “session beers”- a festival dedicated to lower alcohol beers – and it’s taking place this Saturday, August 1st in Denver’s Sculpture Park. This afternoon event will feature beers (all of which will be lower than 5% ABV) from 40 Colorado breweries as well as food, music, lawn games and art. For a complete listing of all the breweries attending check out: Sesh Fest 2015

Music / Music / Music (Chicago, IL) – There’s only one music festival taking place this weekend that truly matters and that’s Lollapalooza 2015.What started as a touring music festival in 1991 by Jane’s Addiction’s Perry Farrell has become a definitively unique music experience. This three-day festival (July 31st-Aug 2nd) returns to Chicago’s historic Grant Park, between the city’s iconic skyline and the shores of
OUR WEEKEND BEER PICK
With summer now upon us and temperatures rising we’re dialing things back at the ACB compound and Victory has brewed an authentic German-style lager that we’ve been hitting a lot lately. Victory’s Helles Lager is 4.8% ABV pleaser that’s a nice take on a style that more and more brewers have been returning to lately.
