The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – August 7, 2015
Hey the work week is over… And it’s time to start thinking fun. Well good, because we’re all about it and we’ve got all kinds of ideas for you. From the nation’s coolest beer festivals, movies and music to cutting edge TV – we’ve got your back big-time. Plus we’ve a special weekend beer pick for you too, because we know you’ll be drinking!
So welcome to our awesome Weekend Picks.

On The Big Screen – Another weekend – another superhero comic book movie. Didn’t Ant -Man just open last weekend? Fantastic Four tells the story of four young outsiders who somehow get teleported to an alternative universe which alters their physical forms in shocking ways. The four then have to learn how to work together and harness their new super powers so they can (are you ready for this?) SAVE THE WORLD! If there were any actors, or actresses, worth noting – we would. But there’s not – so we won’t.
Music / Music / Music (San Francisco, CA) – Hot on the heels of last week’s Lollapalooza, there’s no bigger nor better musical event happening anywhere this weekend than the Outside Lands Festival. This year’s festival is three days (August 7th – 9th) of spectacular music and features a mind-blowing array of artists as varied as the Elton John, Mumford & Sons, The Black Keys, Sam Smith and Kendrick Lamar. If you can’t find music you like here – you don’t like music anymore. For more info on this enormous musical extravaganza check out: Outside Lands 2015

OUR WEEKEND BEER PICK
Magic Hat is currently commemorating 21 years of craft brewing and we’ll be celebrating with them this weekend when we hit up a special limited edition release that they sent us. The first beer that they ever brewed, Magic Hat Ale is a 4.6% “Irish Red” that’s available now in their Night of the Living Dead Variety Pack.
