Connecting with people is just as important as ever, but especially in the post-Covid era, it seems harder than ever. And Miller Lite wants to change that.

Developed by ad agency Leo Burnett Chicago, the new ad once again features the one-and-only Christopher Walken – a legend in his own right with an iconic cadence, style, and star power, that brings generations together.

And in a world where real connection is increasingly rare, Miller Lite and Walken are encouraging 21+ drinkers to say “yes” to moments of connection – because over 50 years of Miller Time teaches you something: nothing beats connecting with good company over a great beer.

“For more than 50 years, Miller Lite has celebrated Miller Time – moments spent with people who make life full,” says chief marketing officer Sofia Colucci. “Whether that’s sharing a cheers with an old friend or cracking open a cold beer at a backyard barbeque, this new campaign is all about opting-in to those moments that make life so special.”

In 2026 Miller Lite is putting its stake in the ground and reminding people that the best moments start when you actually show up and socialize in person. To do so, Molson Coors has crafted three new spots that will air throughout 2026, with Chris Walken’s unmistakable presence  taking center stage.

And Walken, who notably does not own a cell phone or computer, delivers a pretty straightforward message: get out there, grab a beer, and hang with friends.

The campaign’s inaugural spot, “Ditch the Apps” debuted over the weekend during NFL playoff football., so obviously they are serious about this campaign.

Miller Lite’s “Ditch the App” spot is one of three that they produced with Walken. The two other ads are currently available online, with plans for them to run across TV and other paid media later in the year.

In both, the main character is rejecting an opportunity to seize the moment and socialize, and the Academy Award-winning Walken swoops in with his clipped Queen’s neighborhood manner – and of course a Miller Lite in hand – to save the day and spark real social connection.

‘Miller Lite knows one thing: the best stories don’t start alone on your couch,”  added Adriano Matos, global executive creative director at Leo Burnett Chicago. “Christopher Walken is here to remind us that saying ‘yes’ to being social over a beer is how our best memories are made.”
