American Craft Beer has always been on the fence about the whole beer cocktail concept, but with the Winter holiday season ON, we’re throwing caution to the wind and sharing Molson Coors’ take on the quintessential holiday cocktail, eggnog.
Here’s the deal…
While beer cocktails may seem like a modern trend, people have been mixing ingredients into beer for over a millennium. Early mixtures were often used to mask off-flavors resulting from inconsistent brewing processes.

And Eggnog is a rich, chilled, and sweetened dairy-based beverage traditionally consumed during the winter holiday season, using milk, cream, sugar, eggs, and spices, often combined with rum or other distilled spirits.
“The holidays are all about celebrating together, raising a glass and kicking it back with friends and family – and there’s no better way to do that than with an iconic beverage in hand,” said Alan Bremerkamp, Marketing Director of Miller Lite. “We know a thing or two about holiday cheer, and this year we’re bringing it to life all season long.”
Which brings us to Miller Lite Beernog, a beerier approach to the holiday classic.
Miller Lite Beernog
Ingredients
12oz Miller Lite
12oz Low Fat Eggnog
8oz “Lite” Ginger Beer
3 TBS Toffee Sauce
2 TBS “Lite” Whipped Cream
1 TBS Chopped Chocolate Toffee Candy
Instructions
Step 1
Add eggnog, ginger beer, and toffee sauce to a large measuring glass (32 oz preferred). Mix well, until smooth and frothy.
Step 2
Slowly pour Miller Lite into the eggnog mixture and gently stir until combined. A quick, single, soft stir with a spoon is all that’s required to keep that legendary crisp finish.
Step 3
Divide between two chilled glasses and top with a cloud of whipped cream and a sprinkle of toffee candy for a classic holiday taste. Enjoy immediately for a rich, festive blend that’s instantly chased by the beloved clean, crisp finish that’s all Miller Lite.
