October is ON, and American craft brewers are celebrating the onset of Halloween season with a frightening roster of new beers that will keep things fun as the nights grow longer.

A Welcome Return (Kansas City, MO) – Boulevard Brewing has returned a classic after more than a decade on hiatus. Inspired by ultra-creaminess that have long defined the nitro-infused style Boulevard’s Nitro Dry Stout is a 4.9% ABV Irish Dry Stout with roasty malt aromatics,  dark chocolate and espresso notes, a crisp, dry finish and subtle bitterness at the backend..

“We’ve recently seen a surge in popularity and demand for Irish-style dry stouts, and luckily, we had a familiar recipe sitting in our archives. Nitro Dry Stout is a legacy favorite that long-time fans of the brewery will remember well,” said Boulevard’s brand manager, Adam Hall. “Each sip offers an honest, heartfelt experience brewed with patience, purpose and deep respect for the style that inspired it.”

Boulevard Dry Stout was first produced in 1996, but its return comes a new packaging option: 16-ounce Nitro cans, thanks to updated packaging technology. And we couldn’t be more excited that’s it’s now a year-round offering.

Devilish (Lone Tree, CO) – For twelve years running Lone Tree Brewing has been returning a cult classic around Halloween that won the silver medal at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival. Available in individual 12oz cans, 6-packs, and cases, on  Saturday, October 25 at Lone Tree’s original location Hop Zombie, a 9% ABV Imperial Red Ale will make its annual return.

Lone Tree Brewing Company was the first brewery to open in Lone Tree, Colorado in Denver’s South Metro area in 2011, and has remained a local staple for more than a decade. Now deeply rooted in this community, the brewing company is growing friends at its two tasting rooms– the original location near Park Meadows Mall in Lone Tree, and the recently opened Lone Tree Brewing Parker in the heart of Parker, Colorado.
