Hunting season is ON and Anheuser-Busch’s leading economy beer, Busch Light, is once again tapping into the hunting ethos with the return of its popular hunting cans and a massive Beer Money giveaway.

Now returning for an 19th season Busch Light’s special hunting cans have long been popular with beer lovers who are also hunters, and this year Anheuser-Busch this promotion’s 19 year run with enough beer money to stock up on 19 years’ worth of Busch Light Hunting Cans.

All you have to do to qualify for the final “beer money” drawing is to legally change your name to Hunter!

This from the Busch Light press release…

“Hunter, a once coveted name, is now in endangered territory, as its popularity has plummeted by 93% over the past five years. Busch Light refuses to let this name vanish into the brush, so it’s encouraging fans to become Hunter for life… literally. The brand will cover the fees and paperwork-plus beer money for nearly two decades worth of Busch Light Hunting Cans-so one 21+ fan can officially change their name to Hunter.”

From September 29–October 13, 21+ fans can prove their loyalty to the hunt by following Busch Light on X, Facebook or Instagram and posting that they’re game to legally change their name to Hunter on valid posts using hashtag #BecomeAHunter and #Sweepstakes for a chance to win the ultimate Hunter’s jackpot.”

And if your name’s already Hunter Busch Light will be hosting the largest private gatherings of Hunters ever in Appleton, Wisconsin on November 16 with plenty of ice-cold Busch Light Hunting Cans to go around, merch giveaways, fan-favorite hunting games, and an appearance from the rugged Busch Guy himself.

Running now through  October 27, 21+ beer fans named Hunter, those open to changing their name, authentic hunting lovers or those who just love Busch Light can RSVP at www.busch.com/HunterGathering.

The venue and timing will only be revealed to the chosen fans to keep it authentic for hunting lovers, so maybe open a Busch Light and keep your fingers crossed.

Since 2006, Busch Light has created collectible, limited-edition Hunting Cans for its fans to celebrate a shared passion for the great outdoors. And this year marks the 5th year of Busch Light’s ongoing partnership with Ducks Unlimited, a nonprofit dedicated to the conservation of wetlands. And to celebrate this continuing alliance, as well as the annual release of Busch Light Hunting Cans, Anheuser-Busch will donate $50,000 to Ducks Unlimited to support its efforts.

“We’re celebrating our shared love for the great outdoors with not only new Busch Light Hunting Cans, but also a hunt for fans who’d honor the sport by changing their name,” said Krystyn Stowe, Head of Marketing Busch Family & Natural Family, Anheuser-Busch….

“We’ve always met our fans where they already are, like at post-hunt celebrations. It’s how we’ve become the #1 top-selling beer brand in many of the most popular hunting states, including Arkansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.”
