The Advent of “Clean Beer”
Fathers Brewing is a California-based brewery founded by a team of entrepreneurs, brewers, and athletes with a mission to make the cleanest, best-tasting beer in America. Through its commitment to organic ingredients, advanced filtration, and glass packaging, Fathers has developed a “clean beer” process designed for today’s health-conscious drinker.
Fathers’ clean beer process includes double filtration to remove heavy metals, forever chemicals, and microplastics; organic malt and hops; sub-zero lagering for unparalleled smoothness; and glass packaging to ensure purity from brewery to pint.
The result is a crisp, refreshing lager that delivers superior taste and transparency in every sip with Father’stwo initial brews receiving Gold Medals at the World Beer Awards in August.
“There is a shocking amount of bad stuff in what we consume which is why customers are demanding more transparency in what they eat and drink” said co-founder Conor Begley.
“We’ve seen clean beauty and clean food transform industries,” Co-founder Joe Cloyes added, “Fathers is pioneering clean beer—better for people and better tasting too.”

Draft Beer Poised to Overtake Bottles and Cans at Bars and Restaurants
For decades, bottled and canned beer ruled the bar fridge. But out on the taps, something’s brewing: draft beer is poised to officially overtake packaged beer sales at U.S. bars, restaurants, and pubs.
New data from CGA by NIQ and Draftline Technologies shows that draft already accounts for just over half of all beer poured in on-premise venues—52.3% to be exact—and its share is still climbing. If the trend continues, draft beer is expected to outpace bottles and cans not just in volume, but in value per outlet by the end of 2026.
So, what’s behind the shift?
For one, imports are driving serious growth. Import draft sales jumped nearly 14% in the past year, while packaged imports actually slipped. More bars are also pouring beer than before, with a 1.9% increase in outlets carrying it, particularly in neighborhood spots, sports bars, and casual restaurants.
And then there’s the consumer side. People are increasingly choosing draft for its freshness and that “pint glass experience.” The numbers also show a demographic shift: younger drinkers and women are leaning into draft more than ever, helping broaden its appeal beyond the traditional bar, pub and restaurant crowd.
