Lawson’s Finest Liquids’ Release Cosmic New Benefit Beer
Vermont based Lawson’s Finest Liquids, one of the most giving breweries in the biz, has just released its newest “Good Brew For a Cause,” Cosmic Shift IPA a juicy, hop-forward 6.2% ABV IPA That will benefit 10 nonprofit organizations across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, bringing its initiative outside of Vermont for the very first time.
Lawson’s Finest Liquids is a B Corp Certified brewery that gives back through its Social Impact Program (The SIP). The SIP’s mission is to give generously to support community vitality where people thrive and the natural world is protected and enjoyed. Since 2018, the SIP has donated more than $2.5 million to more than 400 nonprofit organizations.

US Beer Sales Decline In June
The National Beer Wholesalers Association’s June 2025 Beer Purchasers’ Index (BPI) paints a sobering picture for the craft beer biz — unfortunately Jume’s sobering numbers are a continuation of a downward trend, not an anomaly.
The BPI number provides valuable insights into the health and direction of the beer market, helping brewers, distributors, and retailers make informed decisions about inventory, production, and sales strategies.
And the Jume numbers sucked…
- The index for imports fell 32-points to 38 in June 2025 from 70 in June 2024.
- The craft index at 15 for June 2025 continues to signal contraction in this segment and is 12 points lower than the June 2024 reading at 27.
- The premium lights index fell to 33 for June 2025, 19-points lower than the June 2024 reading at 52.
- The premium regular index fell to 31 for June 2025, 18-points lower than the June 2024 reading at 49.
- The below premium segment for June 2025 at 45 is 9 points lower than the June 2024 reading of 54.
