When one thinks Jamaica, tropical beauty, inviting beaches, reggae music and Red Stripe beer come to mind. And a new movie Bob Marley: One Love celebrates the life of the man who became the biggest reggae star in the world, and not surprisingly it costars Red Stripe beer.
Paramount Pictures physical executive Mathew Ferrante told the Drinks Business that Red Stripe beer (which is now owned by Heineken) “was known to be deeply rooted in Marley’s cultural and personal narrative.”
There’s no way to tell the Jamaican story without having Red Stripe being a part of it,” Ferrante added. “We worked hard to integrate the Red Stripe brand.”

Craft Beer Vending Machine Dispenses Free Beer To Talented Guitarists
A New Zealand craft brewery has invented a device that awards free beer if it deems a guitarists’ skills are good enough.
Panhead Custom Ales, based in Wellington, New Zealand, has called the custom-made vending machine ‘Slay to Pay.’ And it uses AI fingerprinting technology to rate guitarists’ ability.
“It’s essentially a souped-up Guitar Hero for adults,” Panhead Custom Ale’s head of brand and creative Rebecca Sinclair told the Drinks Business. “As far as we know, this is a first-of-its-kind machine with some pretty cool new tech and the best kind of reward for those willing to give it a go.”
“The machine is the perfect combination of a couple of our favorite things, cold beer and really loud music, Sinclair added. “We gave it its first run at the Panhead Rolling Stone Music Awards and it turns out it’s pretty ruthless. It rejected some of the best guitarists in the country.”
