Thanksgiving has almost arrived along with the onset of winter and American craft brewers are addressing the changing season with an intriguing roster of beers you’re gonna want to have around.

Everything’s Coming Up Roses (Brooklyn, NY) – Brooklyn Brewery has returned something special a collaboration that again unites the craft beer pioneer with an esteemed bourbon icon, Kentucky-based Four Roses Distillery, a collaboration that began in 2019 and continues to flourish, thanks to the camaraderie between Brooklyn Brewery Brewmaster, Garrett Oliver, and Four Roses COO Ryan Ashley.

Aged for 9 months in Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon casks specially-chosen by Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott, Brooklyn Black Ops is a 12% ABV Imperial Stout a decadent cocoa nib and milk chocolate profile that is tempered by a vanilla-forward oak presence.

“Black Ops is a modern classic with its own personality,” Brooklyn Brewery’s James Beard Award-winning Brewmaster, Garrett Oliver said, “brisk, light on its feet, and complex without being heavy. The Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon barrels take this beer where no other barrels could carry it, and I’m very proud of working with Brent and Four Roses’ brilliant team.”

Born In Northern California (Sausalito, CA) – With more craft breweries than ever before, brewing serious non-alcoholic beer, ACB has expanded our coverage to include new NA beers that matter. And Best Day Brewing has a brand new Belgian-style seasonal that’s only 65 calories.

Crafted with hand-picked, organic chamomile flower, coriander, and orange peel, Best Day White is buzz-free Wheat Ale with subtle honey and herbal spice notes.

“A distinctly bready flavor and floral spice aromas from the chamomile and coriander make this Belgian White particularly special,” said Ron Lindenbusch, Chief Innovation Officer at Best Day Brewing. “It’s a beer that gives a nod to the winter spirit while also being very drinkable.”

Hops To It (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing has returned a popular winter seasonal that has been a mainstay of the brewery’s Hop Cycle IPA Series since its inception in 2014. Built on a foundation of pilsner malt and wheat, and brimming with a bracing bitterness, Tröegs Blizzard of Hops is 6.4% ABV India Pale Ale with bright spruce tips, pineapple, and orange rind notes thanks to a combination of Centennial, Chinook, and El Dorado hops.
