November is ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with exciting new beers you’re gonna want have around this weekend.

A “Turducken” of the Beer World (Milton, PA) – Last May Dogfish Head Craft Brewery joined forces with Atlas Obscura’s food and drink arm, Gastro Obscura, to launch a first-of-its-kind craft beer experiment that they describe as the “Turducken” of the Beer World. And on Nov 5, the brewery will be returning this exotic brew as an uber-limited (only 100 bottles available) release.

Brewed with an exotic menu culinary ingredients, including barley, spelt, Muscat grape juice, flaked rice, apple juice concentrate, honey rice syrup, date syrup, yeast, hops and rose petals, Dogfish Head x Gastro Obscura Fermentation Engastration is a 10% ABV exotic limited release that draws inspiration from a collection of complex fermented beverages – a rose-scented sake, a Mid-Atlantic honey and date mead, a bittersweet hard cider, a fruity Muscat wine and a rustic farmhouse ale.

“Here at Dogfish Head, we’ve never been afraid to go against the grain with experimenting with unique, high quality culinary ingredients in our beers,” said Sam Calagione, Dogfish Head Founder & Brewer. “As brewers it’s always been a fascination of ours to deconstruct, reimagine and reassemble how drinkers experience each sip of a new beer.”

AleSmith Brewing Takes Its Non-Alcoholic IPA Nationwide (San Diego, CA) – With changing consumer tastes and drinking habits, AleSmith Brewing Company is bringing their non-alcoholic IPA nationwide. AleSmith fans can now start finding this hoppy and refreshing craft brew on shelves in select markets this quarter before rolling out nationally in January 2023.

Brewed to IPA perfection, AleSmith Non-Alcoholic IPA is a buzz-free India Pale Ale with bright tropical hop notes and aromas that is balanced with a light body and solid bitterness on the finish.

“The innovation for developing a Non-Alcoholic beer has been an interesting and exciting challenge for our company. Our team throughout 18 months of R&D has developed a flavorful and refreshing brew that we think NA and beer drinkers will enjoy,” said Brandon Richards, President at AleSmith Brewing. “We are excited to continue building out this innovation.”

Smoking! (Juneau, AK) – Alaskan Brewing has returned the latest vintage of a rare beer style that the brewery has championing since 1989.  Capturing a cozy winter night spent hearthside in a wilderness cabin or around a roaring fire, Alaskan Smoked Porter is a 6.5% ABV Rauchbier with rich smoky flavors and mellow raisin, stone fruit and sherry notes.

Crafted using the same malting processes that Gold Rush era brewers in Alaska would use when they roasted malted grain over open flame, Alaskan Smoked Porter would go on to become one of the most decorated brews in the US, winning more medals at the Great American Beer Festival than any single beer in history.
