Here’s the deal…

To celebrate Independence Day Pabst Blue Ribbon, a favorite slacker beer, is going big. We’re not talking 12-pack big, or even 30 pack big. What we’re dealing with here is a ginormous first, a beer package containing 1,844 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer.

Introducing the Pabst Blue Ribbon 1884 Pack…that’s more than 76 cases of beer in a package that’s bigger than your garage.

Last summer Pabst released the record-breaking 1,776 Pack to commemorate the nation’s founding and warned at that time that there could be something bigger in the future. It appears that that future is now.

And why a 1,844 Pack you might ask? That’s not a significant day in American history.

We’ll it is to Pabst Blue Ribbon. 1844 is the year that nation’s largest privately held brewing company was founded. So yeah, we’ll drink to that.

“Based on all the conversation and interest around the 1776pk we launched last year, we thought, how can we one-up ourselves this summer and go even bigger?” said Nick Reely, Vice President of Marketing – Pabst Blue Ribbon….

“That was really the genesis of the 1844 pack; 68 more beers than our original big box, while also paying homage to our heritage and founding year and trying to lend a hand to our consumers across the country.”

According to Pabst’s press release, this exclusive offering is limited to 250 packs distributed throughout the country this summer. And to minimize mobs flooding retail, Pabst Blue Ribbon is keeping those locations a secret.

In addition to the launch of the 1844 package, Pabst Blue Ribbon is hosting a summer sweepstakes giveaway that also demands attention. During July, the brewer will give away $1,844 every day and possibly even better lucky winners will also receive 1,844 gallons of gas.

Pabst fans can enter the 2022 sweepstakes through the contest’s website starting July 1 or through a QR code at some retail locations that offer Pabst Blue Ribbon.
