These are no longer normal times…So why drink something normal especially during the winter holidays?

Baltic Brewed (Juneau, AK) – Just before Christmas Alaskan Brewing surprised fans with the announcement that it had returned a winter classic, a beer brewed for cellaring as well as for drinking right away.

Brewed jet-black, thanks to an abundance of deeply roasted malts, Alaskan Baltic Porter is a robust barrel-aged 9.8% ABV Porter with a vanilla and cherry intensity and hints of bourbon and toffee in its finish.

“Baltic Porters were originally brewed stronger and more hoppy than many other dark beers to endure the trip to remote communities along the Baltic Sea,” Alaskan Head Brewer Rob Day. Getting Sticky With It (Oakland, FL) – On January 15 the Funky Buddha Brewery is returning a sweet limited release that generated considerable buzz when it debuted in 2016. Inspired by the beloved Rice Krispie bars, Funky Buddha Sticky Treats is a 5.1% ABV Blonde Ale brewed with rice, marshmallows and vanilla

Eye-Opening (Comstock Park, MI) – Perrin Brewing is returning a seasonal treat that’s crafted with locally-sourced coffee beans and perfect for cold-weather sipping. Perrin Coffee Latte Brown Ale is a 5.8% ABV lactose-fueled, Michigan-only release with light chocolate and coffee notes and an uber-creamy mouth feel.

Snow Job (New Ulm, MN) – Every winter Schell’s Beer welcomes the cold-weather season with a special limited release, which like snowstorms in the Midwest are never alike. And this season’s release takes a turn to the dark side. Bursting with rich coffee and chocolate notes, and distinctively brewed with triticale and oats, Schell’s Snowstorm is a 6.3% ABV full-bodied Oat Stout with a roasted malt quality and ale fruity fullness…
