These are no longer normal times…So why drink something, normal especially during the winter holidays.
Brewed To Age Well (Salt Lake City, UT) Level Crossing Brewing Company will soon be releasing the 6th beer in its Red Feather Small Batch Series, a beer that Head Brewer, Chris Detrick, brewed on his first-born son’s birthday with the intention of aging it and gifting it to him on his 21st birthday. Level Crossing XII XI XIII is a 12.11% ABV Barleywine Ale that was brewed to age well.
Nectar Of The Gods (Worcester, MA) – At a time when many American craft breweries are introducing lower-octane and considerably more sessionable beers than ever before, Greater Good Brewing Imperial Beer Co. is thinking BIG and offering nothing but Imperial-sized offerings. And they are doubling down on the juicy IPA concept with a pulp bomb that’s worth chasing down. Unfiltered and boldly citrus-forward, DDH Good Pulp Daddy is an 8% ABV hazy New England IPA with an intoxicatingly smooth mouthfeel.

Cask Off (Denver, CO) – On December 11, River North Brewery will release the latest and last Single Cask Series beer of 2020, a line of six beers barrel aged in six different barrels throughout the year. Aged in all-Colorado barrels, River North J. Maria is an 10.1% ABV Imperial Saison with banana, caramel and oaky whiskey notes.
Go Mad (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing has returned one of the most anticipated holiday beers of the year, a beer that’s legend throughout the mid-Atlantic. Brewed with a festive mix of Bing, Lambert, Royal Anne and Montmorency cherries, raw honey and spicy Belgian yeast, Tröegs Mad Elf is a ruby red 11% ABV Belgian-style Dark Ale with restrained notes of cinnamon, clove and allspice.
