WEEKEND PICKS: Dogfish Head PJ Party, The Outsider And January Drinking

(Dogfish Head’s Sam Calagione won’t be wearing PJs this weekend)
2020 is ON …and you’re ready for the fun. Well good, because from the nation’s coolest beer events, to movies, music and cutting edge TV – we’ve got you covered. Plus we’ve another weekend beer pick for you, because we know you’ll be drinking.
Dogfish Head Celebrates Big New Beer Release With A PJ Party (Milton, DE) – Dogfish Head Craft Brewery will be celebrating its first limited bottle release of 2020 on Saturday, January 18 at its Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen starting at 11am. And if you drop in for a bottle of Three-Hour Handshake (an 11% Coconut Porter) and come in your PJs, you’ll qualify to win a bigtime Dogfish Head swag bag, There will also be breakfast specials, a DJ spinning early morning music, and fresh cooked oatmeal cookies to pair with the special release.
On The Big Screen – A long dormant franchise gets reignited this weekend with its two leading men both heavier and twenty years older. Bad Boys Forever returns Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as old school cops (this time even older) who team up to take down the vicious leader of a Miami drug cartel. And if this sounds familiar we’re guessing that’s what they were going for.
TV Time & Streaming – A Stephen King bestseller, which sucessfully combines crime fiction with supernatural horror, has gotten a HBO treatment with some of favorite actors. Based on King’s bestselling novel of the same name, The Outsider begins with a seemingly straightforward investigation into the gruesome murder of a young boy. Ben Mendelsohn (Bloodline, Ready Player One) plays Ralph Anderson, the “seasoned cop” who takes on the case. And Jason Bateman stars as the unlikely suspect accused of the grisly murder.
