From the nation’s coolest beer events to movies, music and cutting edge TV – we’ve got you covered. Plus we’ve a weekend beer pick for you too because we know you’ll be drinking.
The Banff Craft Beer Festival 2019 (Alberta) – Described as the “world’s most beautiful beer festival” the 2018 Banff Craft Beer Festival returns to the heart of the Canadian Rockies this week (Nov 21-23) and things are already rocking.
Produced by the Alberta Beer Festivals Group, this spectacular event is an invitation to enjoy delicious Alberta artisan beer (and spirits) against the powerful backdrop of the mighty Rocky Mountains surrounded by pristine wilderness and fresh glacial waters. It doesn’t get much better than this. Trust us.
TV Time & Streaming – Starz has debuted an intriguing new television series based on the books In the Woods and The Likeness by American-Irish writer Tana French. A psychological thriller in eight episodes, Dublin Murders tells the story of Detectives Rob Reilly (Killian Scott) and Cassie Maddox (Sarah Greene) two detectives who find their friendship tested as they are pulled deeper into the darkness that surrounds the murder of a young girl on the outskirts of Dublin, Ireland.
On The Big Screen – Tom Hanks portrays Mister Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood a thoughtful, probing, somber and ultimately uplifting human drama that happens to feature the beloved PBS children’s show host as a key supporting character. The story revolves around a jaded magazine writer (Emmy winner Matthew Rhys) whose assignment to profile of Fred Rogers, America’s most beloved TV neighbor, changes his empty life.
