Your Main Squeeze (Hood River, OR) – Full Sail Brewing has upped the ante on citrusy pale ales and even though local authorities have surrounded their compound, they’re not backing down. Taking its name from the scientific name from one of three primary ancestors of citrus fruits (pomelo…who knew?), Citrus Maxima Pale Ale is a 5.7% ABV fruit-forward refresher that was brewed to become your main squeeze.
Loggers & Lagers (Durango, CO) – Ska Brewing is canning a popular lager that’s been an award-winning trailblazer ever since it was first introduced in 1999. Crafted using a special yeast strain from Mexico City. Ska Mexican Logger is a crisp, clean, and refreshing 5% ABV lager that was brewed for hot afternoons with a side of lime.
Souled Out (Westminster, MA) – The Wachusett Brewing Company is introducing a new year-round offering that’s as tropical as it is topical. Originally conceived to capture the personality of the Wachusett brand, Mass Soul is a 6.5% ABV India Pale Ale brimming with bright passion fruit, pineapple and tropical fruit notes.
A ‘Pineapple Express’ Kind Of IPA (San Diego, CA) – Ballast Point Brewing has a timely new addition to their growing Sculpin IPA family that was brewed using Bruxellensis Trois yeast to up its ‘tropicality.’ With a special hop menu that brighten the beer’s refreshing notes of pineapple, and mango, Ballast Point Aloha Sculpin is 7% ABV India Pale Ale that takes their award-winning flagship IPA in a decidedly tropical direction and the brewery’s newest year-round.
Everybody’s Brewing It! (White Salmon, WA) – Everybody’s Brewing is doing what everybody’s doing, and releasing a fruity pale ale. Mountain Mama Citra Pale Ale is a 5.6% ABV juicy and citrusy Pale Ale with a dominant Citra hop profile, that’s tempered by the Cascade and CTZ hops used for the beer’s bittering.
