Spring is almost here.  And we’ve some interesting new beer releases to pair with your weekend.

A Golden Ale To Spark Change (Fort Collins, CO) – Odell Brewing has a new addition to its year-round lineup that will serve as the spokes-beer for the brewery’s charitable program and community outreach.

The culmination of over a year of R&D on both the Fort Collins and Denver RiNo Brewhouse Pilot Systems, Odell Kindling Golden Ale is 5% ABV refresher with bright citrus and peach aromas and a crisp, refreshing finish.

“We’ve given Kindling a job to do, to share the Odell tradition of making a lasting positive impact in the communities where we do business,” explains Karla Baise of Odell Brewing’s Community Outreach. “This beer will tell the stories of the great work that our charitable partners do and invite fans to join us at our metaphorical campfire to raise a glass and toast to the impact our partners make.”

, Weekend Beer: New Red And Golden AlesDisquieting (Frederick, MD) – Flying Dog Brewery Is celebrating those many zoom calls this year where you launch into a moment of pure conversational genius, only to told by your boss that ‘you’re on mute.”

Crafted to take the edge off a day full of virtual meetings that could have been emails,  Flying Dog You’re On Mute Cabin Fever Red Ale is a 6.2% ABV medium-bodied Red Ale that deftly balances toasted malts and just a hint of chocolate, with a perfectly engineered blend of hops and aromas.

“A unifying experience for people this year has been the transition to working from home and all of the ups and downs that come with that shift,” said James Maravetz, VP of Marketing for Flying Dog Brewery. “Technology brings with it challenges as well as comedy, and the fact that without fail, you have at some point, been on mute.”

A New Hop In Town (Waitsfield, VT) – Lawson’s Finest Liquids as a new addition to its ever-evolving Super Session Single-Hop IPA Series, a line of beers that showcase a different hop variety with every release.

Brewed with loads of Cashmere hops that get added late in the kettle and in dry hopping, Super Session #5 is a light, refreshing and approachable 4.8% ABV India Pale Ale with a soft, balanced hop character.

, Weekend Beer: New Red And Golden AlesWe’ve been testing a wide variety of hops for our Super Session series, and we’re just thrilled with how Super Session #5 came out,” said Sean Lawson, CEO and founder of Lawson’s Finest Liquids. “Cashmere provides plenty of hop character and aroma, but in a way that is softer and not as bitter or aggressive as some other hop varieties.
