Fall beer season is here and it’s a great time for changing things up…And we’ve five exciting craft beer directions that may surprise you…
Jester King & Bruery Terreux Collaborate (Anaheim, CA) – Bruery Terreux just released a collaboration that they did with Austin’s Jester King, and if you’re not interested you don’t like exotic sours. Part of Bruery Terreux’s Foeders with Friends collaboration series, Bouffon is a 5.3% ABV Sour Wit Ale with bitter orange peel and coriander that was deftly nuanced to life in foeders for over four months.
A Sky High (Brooklyn, NY) – Braven Brewing has a new year-round release that looks to the West for inspiration. Big, bad and bold, Braven Skyliner IPA is a 7% ABV West Coast Style India Pale Ale that’s bursting with dank pine and citrus bitterness.
John Barleycorn Must Fly (Blue Lake, CA) – Mad River Brewing is returning a hi-octane classic that has already won two Gold Medals from the Great American Beer Festival, one in the Barley Wine-Style Ale category and one in the Aged Beer category. Rose gold in color with a rich foamy head, Mad River John Barleycorn Barley Wine-Style Ale is a MASSIVE Harvest Ale with a recipe that evolves every year.
A Good Life And Beer (Bend, OR) – Goodlife Brewing just released a collaboration that they did with the Ale Apothecary that was the dream of GoodLife’s Brewmaster & Co-Founder, Curt Plants who died earlier this year at the too-young age of 33. First brewed as a Dortmunder style lager at GoodLife’s production facility, then barrel-aged for 18 months with The Ale Apothecary’s wild house yeast culture, Goodlife Brett Lager is an amazing homage to Curt Plants and a life well lived.
Strong Stuff (Asheville, NC) – Hi-Wire Brewing is returning a popular seasonal on October 13th and with America’s temps trending lower, it’s right on time. Brewed with a Mexican and Honduran blend of coffee from Dynamite Roasting Co, Hi-Wire Strongman Coffee Milk Stout is a 5.4% ABV eye-opener with a sweet and creamy finish.
