Cambria, a sleek upscale boutique lodging division of Choice Hotels International, understand the importance of craft beer to its hotel guests. And they’ve hired a full-time craft beer expert to ensure that the craft beers that they offer are local and smart.
Zach O’Haire is a Phoenix-based certified cicerone, he lives beer and told Forbes that he loves curating it for Cambria’s family of 42 designer hotels…
“Being a cicerone for Cambria is really the best job in the world because it allows me to explore flavors and new communities all the time.”
O’Haire stressed the importance of “sourcing local ingredients or pivoting to specialty styles that embrace the regional cuisine,” adding that “The craft brewing scene helps give a sense of what is important to a community.”
Menu’s change as frequently as the seasons at Cambia’s lifestyle hotels and so do the beer offerings that O’Haire oversees…
