Bostonians are serious about their beer- and they're serious about the bars where drink their beer. The city has tons of great bars and we've visited and enjoyed many of them, so when Lina Roque, writing for Boston.com, picked three area bars that serve serious craft beer, we were interested.

When asked whether his title was VP, Sierra Nevada's Brian Grossman replied "Second Generation Brewer." Coming up on 36 years in the craft industry is no small feat; neither is running a 6-city beer festival involving 31 partner breweries, hundreds of brewers and thousands of attendees.

I was lucky enough to snag a few minutes with Brian on board the Beer Camp bus to find out what goes on behind the scenes.

We at American Craft Beer are outspoken in our belief that buzz is an important aspect of drinking. And while many in our industry have chosen to conveniently overlook the obvious, we are adamant that one of the primary reasons that people drink is for the pleasure of the high that comes with it. Sure, the taste of what you're drinking matters mightily - but would you really drink if it didn't also enhance your mood?

We, the Average Joes at ACB, may not have full-time jobs brewing, selling or judging beer, yet if you knew just how awesome some of our real jobs are, you'd better understand why we spend so much of our free time drinking beer.  And in case you haven't noticed, it's pretty damn hot outside these days, so we felt it merited an investigation into one of the most refreshing styles around today.
