The Best (And Worst) US Beer Cities – 2023

, The Best (And Worst) US Beer Cities – 2023

You always have to take beer rankings done by financial or real estate sites for what they are…clickbait to drive you to their businesses.

But that doesn’t mean they aren’t fun diversions…

Real Estate Witch is the latest to come up with a Best Beer City ranking based on the following…

  • Breweries per capita
  • Average price of beer
  • Affordability of domestic beer
  • Affordability of imported beer
  • Average Yelp rating of breweries
  • Average Yelp rating of bars
  • Bars per capita
  • “Beer passion” score based on Google Trends data

The weirdest aspect of the methodology that went into this ranking was the “Beer Passion” score…but it is what it is.

Notable Beer Stats from the 2023 Report
