, The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – October 23, 2015Charm City Throwdown (Baltimore, MD) – One of our favorite cities, will be hosting one of our favorite events, this Saturday, October the 24th, when the Baltimore Craft Beer Festival returns to the beautiful Canton Waterfront Park. Sponsored by the Brewers Association of Maryland this year’s afternoon event will feature a multitude brilliant harvest seasonals and limited release rarities from more than 25 of the state’s most accomplished brewers. On The Big Screen – This weekend’s new movie openings run the gamut from serious to scary, to possibly seriously scary. On the serious side is Steve Jobs, a film collaboration between Director Danny Boyle (we like him), writer , The American Craft Beer Weekend Picks – October 23, 2015Aaron Sorkin (him too), and Michael Fassbender who, although a very decent actor, looks absolutely nothing like Steve Jobs. On the scarier side, is anything with Vin Diesel in it – and he stars in The Last Witch Hunter. And on the seriously scary side is Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, a found footage horror series that is proving itself to be truly undead.

Drink Motor City (Detroit, MI) – Join the Michigan Brewers Guild at Eastern Market this weekend when the 7th Annual Detroit Fall Beer Festival returns to Motor City. Attendees can enjoy two days (Oct 23rd – 24th) of incredible food from Detroit’s hottest restaurants and drink from over 675 craft beers provided by over 80 of Michigan’s most cutting edge breweries. TV Time – If you’re in the mood for something thoughtful, provocative and sexy the Showtime network is returning drama series that more than fits that bill.
