Casked (Atlanta, GA) – The SweetWater Brewing Company is throwing its annual “Brew Your Cask Off” Cask Ale Festival this Saturday, November 8th from 6:30-10:30 p.m. and you need to be there. They’ve invited 90 special guests to roll up their sleeves, channel their inner brewer, and create a one-of-a-kind cask! Enjoy a plethora of Real Ale created by area retailers, a few celebs, some media folks, homebrewers, and favorite charities under the watchful eye of Sweetwater’s brewers. On The Big Screen – Christopher Nolan’s newest sci-fi opus opens this weekend and we’ve already purchased our tickets. Earth is dying and Interstellar tells the tale of a group of explorers (headed by Matthew McConaughey along with Anne Hathaway) who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to conquer vast distances in a desperate search for a new habitable planet.

Gilded (San Diego, CA) – This weekend marks the return of the San Diego Brewers Guild Festival to Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier. This festival has grown over the years and is now a two-day event (Nov 7-8), and they’ll be offering unlimited samples from more than 50 of the region’s best breweries. Food will be available from craft-beer friendly restaurants and like-minded food trucks, and some of San Diego’s most talented bands will be performing. With such an awesome beer list, why would you be anywhere else?

Fun Fun Fun This Weekend (Austin TX) – In 2006, the Fun Fun Fun Fest booked its first set of acts in downtown Austin and it didn’t take long for it to become the darling of independent festivals for both performers and music lovers. Renowned for its musical lineup, as well as its collection of comedy, food, action sports, and poster art experiences,The Fun Fun Fest returns to Austin this weekend for three days (Nov 7-9) of genre-defying music and comedians from around the world.
