From the nation’s coolest beer festivals to movies, music and cutting edge TV – we’ve got your back big-time. Plus we’ve another weekend beer pick for you too, because we know you’ll be drinking!

On The Big Screen – This month’s new movie openings run the gamut from ridiculous to embarrassingly stupid,and the parade of misguided film offerings shows no sign of letting up. Maybe Finding Dory, the sequel to an animated hit (Finding Nemo) that came out over 13 years ago, will interest some parents out there – but we’d rather shoot ourselves before spending two hours with Ellen DeGeneres as a talking fish. And while buddy comedy Central Intelligence does star Dwayne Johnson who we’ve warmed up to, it also stars Kevin Hart WHO IS JUST NOT FUNNY! Probably smarter to blow off everything at the Cineplex this weekend and just drink.

TV Time – They’re both on HBO and they’re both follow the uber-popular Game of Thrones – and if you’ve not yet caught up with Veep or Silicon Valley, you’re missing two of the best American comedies currently on TV. Now in its fifth season, Veep stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer a one-time Vice President who is, at least for now, hysterically the President of the United States. Silicon Valley is a brilliant send-up of America’s competitive technocracy and focuses on six young men who struggling to build a startup company with predictably unpredictable results.
