Craft beer’s most important industry gathering, the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America, has kicked off in “Sin City.” And If you’re in the craft beer biz, have friends in the industry, or hope to work in it yourself one day, you’re probably already in town.
Presented by the Brewers Association, the Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) is the world’s largest beer and brewing event and it can attract over 13,000 brewing professionals and some of the biggest names in the biz.
The CBC is held in different cities annually. Last year it returned to Nashville for a second terrific run, but its never been held in Las Vegas before, a city that was relatively late to the craft beer scene but is thriving now.
First launched in Boulder, Colorado in 1996, the Craft Brewers Conference has grown massively in scope and scale…The 2024 CBC is showcasing more than 70 seminars and a vast array of industry voices, across nine different educational tracks, all taking placce at the uber-fab Venetian Hotel complex.
CBC 2024 is also presenting BrewExpo America, the nation’s leading trade show for craft brewers featuring hundreds of exhibitors and a great opportunity for professionals to explore the newest products and services that the industry has to offer.
The Craft Brewers Conference will conclude in Las Vegas on April 24 with the awards ceremony for the 2024 World Beer Cup, the biggest and most prestigious beer competition in the world—coined the “Olympics of Beer.”
Developed in 1996 to celebrate the art and science of brewing, the now annual competition continues to generate global awareness about different beer styles and flavor profiles while promoting international brewing excellence.
This year’s competition is expected to be unforgiving, as craft brewing continues to attract an even broader universe around the globe.
American Craft Beer is excited to once again be attending this important industry gathering.
And even though the ACB crew may have had too much fun at last year’s CBC in Nashville, we’re not apologizing for any of it, and looking forward to connecting with all of you this week in “Sin City.”
