Brutish Behavior (Cooperstown, NY) – With the holiday season nearing Brewery Ommegang has announced the launch of a new beer that marries the hoppy flavors of American IPAs with the sparkling effervescence of serious Belgian ales. Brewed using a unique process and bottle conditioned, Ommegang Brut IPA is 6.4% ABV Brut India Pale Ale with dank, resinous pine, grapefruit and pineapple aromatics and a dry effervescent finish.
Breakside Sours! (Portland, OR) – Breakside Brewing has just released its last Breakside Sour Series beer of the year and they’ve ended things with style. Breakside Quiescence is a 5.9% ABV blend of 13 casks of wood-aged sour beer aged for 12 months in Archery Summit Pinot Noir barrels.
Mr. Sandman Returns (Denver, CO) – This weekend, River North Brewing will be debuting the 2018 vintage of its award-winning imperial stout aged in Colorado bourbon barrels. Only released but once a year. Deep, dark, and dreamy, River North Barrel Aged Mr. Sandman is one of the brewery’s most constant yearly offerings and it disappears fast – so you know what to do.
Second Self Returns A Sleeper (Atlanta, GA) – In December Second Self Beer Company will be returning a popular winter offering in 16oz cans. Brewed with roasted malts and coffee from Atlanta roaster Slow Wave Coffee, Second Self Olde Oyl is a massive 10% ABV Russian Imperial Coffee Oatmeal Stout with an uber- rich body and a smooth latte finish.
Cran-Buried (Cape May, NJ) – Cape May Brewing just released the perfect Thanksgiving Day brew, something they’ve dubbed an Imperial Shandy. Cape May Cranberry Good Good (!) is a big 8% ABV Cranberry Wheat Ale that’s brewed to pair flawlessly with friends, family, turkey and holiday activities.
