Mahou San Miguel new facility, which is being designed to attract brewers from around the world, will be ‘state-of-the-art’ and able to explore craft beer’s most exciting trend’s including “oxidative aging, cold storage of unpasteurized products, and lager, ale, hybrid or mixed fermentations.”

Conceived in collaboration with Javier Aldea, the founder of Nómada Brewing, a Spanish craft brewer that Mahou bought a 40% stake of in 2016, the new brewing center, which hopes to start operations in 2019, will be located next to Mahou San Miguel’s production center in Córdoba.
