2021, hopefully a better year, is officially ON. And we’ve some fun new beer releases to pair with your weekend.
Tempting (Garland, TX) – Dallas area, Lakewood Brewing has a new addition to its popular “Seduction Series,” a bestselling line of Temptress Imperial Milk Stout variations that the brewery continues to expand upon.
Available at the Lakewood Taproom starting February 19th, with state-wide distribution kicking off the following week, French Toast Temptress is a 9.1% ABV Imperial Milk Stout that takes the concept of “breakfast beer” seriously.
“This time of year calls for a decadent beer and French Toast Temptress checks all the boxes,” said Wim Bens, Lakewood’s Founder and President. This newest release is slightly sweeter than regular Temptress with extra vanilla and lots of Grade A maple syrup and a hint of cinnamon.”
Decadence Done Right (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing has a new year-round addition that’s built on a foundation of rich chocolate malt, caramel malt and roasted barley. A creamy smooth rush of chocolate and vanilla, Tröegs Grand Cacao Chocolate Stout is a 6.5% ABV approachable stout that is cold-steeped to perfection on Peruvian cacao nibs.
“You’ve had stouts with chocolate notes,” says our Brewing Manager Tim Mayhew. “The way these ingredients come together, this tastes more like chocolate with stout notes.”
Swell Drinking (Kihei, Hawaii) – Maui Brewing is a fiercely local company that has remained steadfast regarding local production. And they’ve a new unfiltered take on one of their bestselling beers. A full bodied hazy rendition of Big Swell their flagship IPA. Maui Hazy Big Swell is a 6.8% ABV India Pale Ale with big tropical and piney hop notes and an uber-smooth mouthfeel.
