Tree House Opens New Brewery (Charlton, MA) – Tree House Brewing, a brewery that  has built with an almost cult-like following from their humble origins in Monson, Massachusetts has opened a new brewery in nearby Charlton that’s ups a game-changer on every level.

Tree House’s new facility allows the brewery, known for brilliant New England IPAs like Julius and fans that line up daily for whatever release they can get their hands on, to expand their brewing capacity from 300 barrels per week, to up to 240 barrels per day.

Conceived as a Destination Brewery, Tree House’s new compound sits on 70 lush acres, a mix of woodlands and green space. The new 55,000-square-foot state-of-the-art complex is currently open to the public Wednesday through Saturday.

New Belgium, whose sales stumbled slightly in 2015, had a record 2016. And in the first four months of 2017, market research giant Nielsen reported that New Belgium’s sales surged 8.5%.

What We’ve Been Drinking Lately (Sligo, Ireland) – Last night we hit up something fantastic from The White Hag an award-winning Irish brewery that’s shaking things up bigtime. Cloudy crisp, tart and fruity White Hag’s The Púca Dry Hopped Lemon Sour is a brilliant 3.5% ABV refresher, that we think is well worth a trip to the Emerald Isle.
