Dogfish Head and The Grateful Dead Partner For Record Store Day (Milton, DE) – As the official brewery of Record Store Day, Dogfish Head and the Grateful Dead are celebrating independent beer and independent record stores with the brewery’s classic American Beauty Pale Ale and the release of a limited edition, 10-track vinyl Grateful Dead on Record Store Day (Saturday, April 13).
Dogfish Head American Beauty, which is brewed to 6.5% ABV as a homage the year the Grateful Dead was formed (1965), is a band-friendly American Pale Ale infused with granola and succulent wildflower honey to lock in its ‘dead cred.”
The perfect addition to a pint of American Beauty, “Sage and Spirit” features a hand-picked collection of Grateful Dead melodies, curated by the band’s audiovisual archivist and legacy manager, David Lemieux. And in addition to classics like “Sugar Magnolia,” and “Eyes Of The World,” the new Grateful Dead collection will also feature recordings of “Jack Straw” and “Brown-Eyed Women” from the band’s European tour in 1972.

Craft Brewers and Audubon Activist Partner to Protect the Delaware River – The National Audubon Society and Audubon Pennsylvania have brought together a coalition of regional brewers to form the Brewers for the Delaware River Association which is committed to protecting the Delaware River watershed.
